A plaque commemorating Matt Cain's perfect game has been placed on a walkway outside the right-field wall at AT&T Park. Cain, the first Giants pitcher to throw a perfect game, was honored on Friday night in a pair of ceremonies before San Francisco hosted the Colorado Rockies.

Former slugger Rafael Palmeiro said Friday that Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds should be voted into the Hall of Fame. "You're talking about, in my opinion, probably the best pitcher of all-time and the greatest player of all-time," Palmeiro said. "Keep them out and then the Hall of Fame has no credibility."
